The biggest asset of the new building is multi-functionality. No-column multipupose hall with the space of over 8,000 square meters seat, as many as, 8,000 participants and during a concert, as many as 10,000.

Katowice
It is difficult to imagine Katowice’s landscape without the characteristic edifice of the 'Spodek' Sport and Show Arena located in the very centre of the city. The 'Spodek' Arena, the biggest facility of its kind in Poland, was handed over for use in 1971. In 2009 works on complete modernisation of the facility were commenced and as result it became the most modern sports and entertainment arena in Poland.

Gliwice sports and entertainment hall (the 'Podium'). The facility is being built at the site of the former XX-century stadium between the Academic and Kujawska streets in Gliwice. The stadium in Bielsko-Biała, was built in 1927 and was modernized in the 1950s. Initially, it served as both a football and an athletic stadium. Construction of the new stadium began in August 2012. It was officially completed 8 October 2016 year.

The Scientific Information Centre and Academic Library is a library of two Katowice universities: the University of Economics and the University of Silesia. In addition to the typical functions of the university library, it also serves as a venue for exhibitions, cultural events and scientific conferences. The Center offers: Conference Room for 90 persons, Teaching Room for 30 persons and Seminar Room for 40 persons, as well as hall only as exhibition space with the possibility of installing portable sound system for vernissages.
